Job Description
As a Nurse Manager in the Surgical Services department, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the surgical unit. You will lead a team of nurses and support staff to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Manage staffing and scheduling of the surgical unit
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to optimize patient care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in budget planning and resource allocation
- Resolve conflicts and address performance issues within the team
Requirements
- Valid and current RN license
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
- Previous management or supervisory experience
