Job Description
As an RN on the Medical/Surgical Unit, you will provide compassionate and competent care to patients with various medical conditions and post-surgical needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring a safe and healing environment for all patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments
- Assist with wound care and post-surgical recovery
- Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid and current RN license in the state
- BSN degree (preferred)
- CPR certification
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
