Job Description
As an LPN in a Long-Term Care Facility, you will assist in providing skilled nursing care to elderly residents and individuals with chronic medical conditions. You will work under the direction of RNs and physicians to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document residents’ vital signs and health status
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Collaborate with the care team to develop care plans
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Requirements
- Valid and current LPN license in the state
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Experience in long-term care or geriatrics (preferred)
